Disagree

v.intr. (intransitive verb)

(1) dis.a.greed, dis.a.gree.ing, dis.a.grees;

(2) To fail to correspond:

Our figures disagree.

These two reports of the accident disagree.

His conduct disagrees with his words.

(3) To have a differing opinion:

She disagrees with him on everything.

They say it will rain, but I disagree

I disagree with you about this.

He said it would rain, but I disagreed with him - I was sure it would not rain.

I disagreed with him about (over/as to) how we ought to deal with backward.

(4) To cause adverse effects:

Caffeine disagrees with me.

Icecream always disgrees with me.

Hot climate disagrees with me.
