HP Designjet 800ps 是hp的一款大幅面绘图仪，主要用于打印A0和A1篇幅的海报，CAD图纸等。
2.1 IP地址的配置

1. From the Front Panel, use the arrow buttons to highlight the printer icon and press ENTER.
2. Press the Up arrow key until I/O Setup appears. Press ENTER.
3. Press the Down arrow to Card Setup and press ENTER. Highlight Configuration, and press ENTER.
4. From the Front Panel message of Cfg Network=No, press ENTER.
5. Press the Up arrow key to change to Yes. Press ENTER.
6. Press the Up arrow key until Cfg TCP/IP=No appears. Press ENTER.
7. Press the Up arrow key to change to Yes. Press ENTER.
8. Press the Up arrow until BOOTP=Yes appears. Press ENTER.
9. Press the Up arrow key to change to No. Press ENTER.
| NOTE: | If BOOTP=Yes, the printer is configured to retrieve its TCP/IP parameters over the network from a BOOTP, RARP, or DHCP server. If BOOTP=NO, the printer is configured to accept TCP/IP parameters from the Front Panel. |
11. On HP Jetdirect print servers with firmware L.20.04 or greater, press the Up arrow key to until DHCP=yes appears. Press ENTER.
12. Press the Up arrow key to change to No. Press ENTER.
13. Press the Up arrow key until IP Byte1=xxx appears.
14. To change the IP byte, proceed as follows:
a. Press ENTER.
b. Press the Up or Down arrow key to change the number.
c. Press ENTER.
d. Press the Up arrow key to continue to IP Byte2=xxx.
e. Press ENTER.
15. Configure the remaining bytes of the IP address in the same manner.
16. Configure the subnet mask bytes (SM), syslog server IP address (LG), default gateway (GW), and timeout (TIMEOUT) in the same manner.
| NOTE: | When the HP Jetdirect print server is given a syslog server IP address, it can generate syslog messages and send them to that. If no syslog server is on the network, skip this setting. |
18. The TIMEOUT parameter default is 90 seconds. Up to 3,600 seconds can be configured. If set to "0," the timeout feature of the HP Jetdirect print server is disabled -- TCP/IP connections will remain open until closed by the server.
19. To save this information:
a. Designjet 5000: Press the BACK button three times, then press the TOP button to save the configuration.
b. Designjet 500 and 800: Press the BACK button four times and wait until the Readymessage is displayed.
c. Turn the printer off, then turn it on to refresh the new settings.
61:05 Error Processing Job 系统错误指出存在通信问题，HP Designjet 500 和 800 系列打印机无法处理送给它的作业。

A．诊断打印机的功能
61:05 错误可能由不干净的打印头触点或坏打印头所导致（根据发送的作业或正在进行的内部打印，可能在 79:04 错误之间循环）。 在内部打印上持续出现 61:05 错误的情况下，不干净的打印头触点或坏打印头是最可能的原因。 如果错误和打印头有关，则按照打印头清洗说明操作，否则请：
清洗电触点：
关闭打印机，然后再开启打印机。
等待打印机完成初始化过程。
使用向下箭头 键，滚动到“墨水菜单”（Ink menu） （墨滴图标）并按 Enter 。
滚动到“更换打印头”（Replace Printheads） 并按 Enter 。
打开顶盖。
打开墨盒盖并取出所有打印头。
关闭打印机。
使用浸有少量水的无绒布（即咖啡滤纸）清洗墨盒和打印头上的电触点。
触点干燥后，重新安装打印头并关上墨盒盖。
关上顶盖。
开启打印机并尝试重现该错误。
如果仍出现错误，请尝试先更换黑色打印头（最常见的原因），或者更换其他显示错误消息的打印头。
如果仍出现错误，请继续执行剩余操作步骤。
一般性故障诊断步骤：
关闭然后再开启 HP Designjet 800 和 500 系列打印机。 如果仍出现错误，请转至步骤 3。
从打印机驱动程序中发送测试打印。 如果打印成功， 请点击此处转至软件诊断。 如果打印不成功，请继续执行步骤 3。
关闭打印机并拔下并行连接线和所有网络连接线，只连接电源线。
开启打印机，从前面板上的“墨水系统”（Ink System）菜单中发送“诊断打印”（Troubleshooting Print）。 如果诊断测试打印成功， 请点击此处转至诊断连接 。 如果执行诊断打印时又出现错误，则打印机可能有硬件问题。
对于带有 HPGL/2 附件卡的 Designjet 500 打印机而言，请拔下所有已添加的内存。 对于 Designjet 800 打印机，可试用不同的内存 SIMM（如果有可用的）。
检查是否有新发布的固件，如果需要，将固件升级到最新版本。
如果仍出现错误，当错误出现时按 MENU 按键，以获得惠普客户服务技术支持的详细信息，然后转至 Contact HP。

B.诊断 HP Designjet 和电脑间的连接
使用并行或 USB 连接时，确保 HP Designjet 800 和 500 系列打印机是唯一连接到该 USB 或并口的设备。 其他设备（如开关盒）会干扰电脑和打印机之间的通信。
试用其它连接线。
如果使用并行连接线，查验该连接线是否短于 3 米并且符合 IEEE-1284 规范。
试用电脑上的其他并口模式。 HP Designjet 客户服务无法完成此任务，如果需要协助，请参阅电脑的文档或技术支持。
NOTE: 某些外设具有端口监视软件，会干扰 HP Designjet 800 和 500 系列打印机的并口通信。 要想让电脑和 HP Designjet 800 和 500 系列打印机成功通信，可能需要卸载该软件。 如果是这种情况，请参阅其他打印机提供的文档或技术支持服务。

C.软件诊断
发送产生该系统错误的相同文件。
如果仍出现错误，请尝试再次生成该文件并进行打印。
尝试发送不同的文件。
试用其他应用程序的文件。
确保使用了正确的打印机驱动程序。
检查是否有新发布的打印机驱动程序。
卸载并重新安装打印机驱动程序（安装可用的最新版本）。
对于其它所有被设为打印到与 Designjet 800 和 500 系列打印机相同端口的打印机驱动程序，均将其设置成打印到文件。
仅对 HP Designjet 800 系列打印机，检查下列内容
查验前面板上的图形语言是否与发送到 HP Designjet 800 系列打印机的文件语言相一致。
前面板出现 Ready 消息后，突出显示打印机 图标，然后按 ENTER。
按箭头键选择“图形语言”（Graphics Language） ，然后按 ENTER。
如果导致错误的文件是 Binary PostScript(R) 文件，则使用 AppleTalk 将文件发送到打印机。 如果没有使用 AppleTalk，则将前面板的 PostScript 设置改为 Binary 。
前面板出现 Ready 消息后，突出显示打印机图标，然后按 ENTER。
按箭头键选择“PostScript 设置”（PostScript Settings） ，然后按 ENTER。
选择“编码”（Encoding） 并按 ENTER。
选择“二进制”（Binary） 并按 ENTER。
05:10错误是打印机格式化版有问题，
解决方案有两个：
A.更换格式化板
B.移除格式化板，在客户端添加hp500 pcl3驱动（打印大文件时处理速度有影响）
