1、先安裝ubuntu server 11.04安裝過程中 選中 LAMP(必選) Mailserver (必選) OpenSSH(遠程控制)（可選）
具體安裝過程請在網上找相關資料。
2、server 安裝完成後，執行以下命令來安裝相關軟件，才能配合openwebmail進行使用。
sudo apt-get install perl
sudo apt-get install libauthen-pam-perl
sudo apt-get install libconvert-asn1-perl
sudo apt-get install libnet-ldap-perl
sudo apt-get install perl-suid
sudo apt-get install wwwconfig-common
sudo apt-get install libpg-perl
sudo apt-get install libmd5-perl這個需要從網上下載然後安裝
http://packages.debian.org/zh-cn/lenny/all/libmd5-perl/download
3、從http://openwebmail.org/openwebmail/download/debian/ 下載最新openwebmail的安裝包
如：owm2.53-2.deb
4、 sudo dpkg -i owm2.53-2.deb
5、 sudo rm /var/www/openwebmail/index.html
sudo ln -s /var/www/openwebmail/redirect.html /var/www/openwebmail/index.html
6、 sudo reboot 重啓動服務器
7、 在IE中輸入 http://localhost/openwebmail 進行測試OK！！！
8、 常見問題： 1、 登錄用戶名爲 ubuntu 的用戶名 及 密碼，，但不包括root 帳戶。
2、如何添加新用戶 sudo adduser zhangsan 這樣就可以增加 zhangsan的郵箱帳戶及密碼了。
3、登錄後 顯示 [email protected] 而且不能正常發郵件
請檢查 /etc/hosts 及/etc/hostname 文件的配置，，最重要的是 /etc/hostname
如我的服務器名爲server 域名爲com 則，我的服務器的郵箱地址爲 [email protected]
在ubuntu 中ping server.com 就可以正確解析爲我服務器的IP ，這個解析不是由internet上的DNS
完成的，而且是根據本機 /etc/hosts 中的設置來解析的 。
修改我服務器的/etc/hostname 設置爲 server.com 後，再進行登錄，openwebmail就可以正常
識別我的服務器郵件地址爲[email protected]了。
4、如何在openwebmail中修改密碼： 點擊 個人模板設置 後，再網頁上方有個按鈕 --修改密碼。
