Ronald L. Rivest簡 介 :
Ronald L. Rivest 1947年出生於美國紐約。
Rivest於1969年從耶魯大學獲得其數學學士學位，1974年從斯坦福大學獲得其計算機科學的博士學位。
目前Rivest任職於MIT計算機系從事計算機理論的研究。除了RAS算法中R的巨大貢獻之外，Rivest也是RC2, RC4,RC5,RC6的發明者。也是MD2，MD4和MD5加密哈希(Hash)函數的發明者。
