Biwi Kinect Head Pose Database 是一個人頭部姿勢圖像數據集,包含 15000 多張,20個不同人的頭部姿勢的圖像。

Image database
 The head pose database is a benchmark of 2790 monocular face images of 15 persons with variations of pan and tilt angles from -90 to +90 degrees. For every person, 2 series of 93 images (93 different poses) are available. The purpose of having 2 series per person is to be able to train and test algorithms on known and unknown faces (cf. sections 2 and 3). People in the database wear glasses or not and have various skin color. Background is willingly neutral and uncluttered in order to focus on face operations.

Head pose estimation dataset:
The dataset was acquired in a 5x5m2 room where cameras are used to visually interpret human activity. Eight cameras are mounted at the corners and at the in-between mid-wall points of the room viewing it in yaw-steps of 45 degrees. The cameras are pointing at the floor center in a relative pitch of 43 degrees, on average. Their height is 2.6m from the floor. At the same height, a ninth camera is mounted on the ceiling, overlooking the floor. All cameras have 66x51 degrees field of view and 960x1280 pixels resolution. It is worth noting that the specific camera setup has been decided to generically serve the purposes of human activity interpretation and was not optimized for the particular task of 3D head pose estimation.

UPNA HEAD POSE DATABASE
We have created a public database of videos for head tracking and pose estimation. The database consists of a set of 120 videos acquired with a standard webcam, corresponding to 10 different subjects (6 males and 4 females) and 12 videos each. Every set of 12 videos is composed of 6 guided-movement sequences and 6 free-movement sequences. In the guided sequences, the user follows a specific pattern of movement: three pure translations (X, Y, Z) and three pure rotations (roll, yaw, pitch). In the free sequences, the user moves the head at free will combining translations and rotations along the three spatial axes. Translation and rotation axes are defined in the figure below. Every video begins and ends with the head in a frontal position, at a working distance from the camera (55-60cm). Movement ranges are large, translations going up to more than 200mm in any axis from the starting point, and rotations up to 30°.

UPNA Synthetic HEAD POSE DATABASE
created a public database of videos for head tracking and pose estimation. The database is a synthetic replica of the UPNA Head Pose Database. Twelve videos per user have been thus generated, which include 6 guided-movement sequences and 6 freemovement sequences. The videos have been generated with a 1280×720 pixel resolution, at 30 frames per second and are provided in MPEG-4 format.
