Although I really liked these interviews, I don’t see the need for asking a very good level in algorithms and data structures if the real job requires 5% of this level.
In my professional career:
- I’ve never coded my own sorting algorithm,
- I’ve never coded my own self-balancing tree,
- I’ve never used recursion,
- I’ve rarely created “touchy” algorithms.
