We know interviews can sometimes be daunting (we hope they won't be!) so we've outlined some suggestions below to help you prepare and feel at ease when you chat with one of our friendly engineers.

Interview overview.
Google software engineering interviews are technical in nature and typically last <45 minutes.
Engineers may ask you questions on up to 3 areas covering core computer science fundamentals as well as questions on algorithms, data structures, runtimes and system designs.

Background revision
If you feel rusty on a few areas, you may find the following helpful:

Product improvement
Search is far from solved and the same could be said for any product you choose. Do you have any favourites? What improvements would you like to see? How might you implement them if they had 10,000 or 10million users? Bring your ideas to the interview as no product is perfect!
