如何克服預設：
1. 將您孩子的教育需求文件帶到 IEP 會議並與特殊教育人員分享；學校必須考慮家長提供的所有信息。
2. 家長必須是 IEP 過程中有意義的參與者。將法院裁決傳達給特殊教育人員，如果不允許父母有意義地參與其孩子的 IEP 的製定，則可能會發現預先確定和拒絕 FAPE。
3. 如果特殊教育人員仍然拒絕您輸入或僅提供一種服務或安置選項，請考慮以違反 IDEA 為由提出州級投訴。
