Maxime Mouyen

Maxime Mouyen is associate professor in geodynamics. His research focuses on geodesy and geophysics, using GNSS, gravimetry and strainmeter to quantify mass redistribution in the earth system. The earth indeed constantly experiences mass redistribution, due to tides, ocean, atmosphere and sediment dynamics. A good evaluation of such mass redistribution will help to evaluate the variations of the stress field in the crust, which is important for assessing seismic hazard.
