Recently, I have a remote server which don’t response anything whatever operations, which means it’s dead. To solve this issue without loss of data, I find out a tool which can do it.
So share it with you in case you need someday.
• Download :

• Preparation: Launch command line and ‘cd’ to the folder you extracted the PSTool.zip
• Usage example: PsExec \\ComputerName –u <UserName> –p <Passwrod> cmd
After type Enter key, you will go to the windows directory of the remote server under cmd environment. At this time, you can type any available commands such as : restart /r /t 0
