adding the time server to /etc/ntp.conf and to /etc/ntp/step-tickers:
/etc/ntp.conf:
server 192.168.x.x
/etc/ntp/step-tickers
server 192.168.x.x
restart ntpd :
service ntp restart / /etc/init.d/ntp restart
L10N of puty (chinese character)
Font Setting : chinese character set, such as GB2312
Translation : The same as the Font Setting (GB2312, UTF-8, or Use Font Encoding)
Decoding : export LC_ALL=zh_CN.XXX ( the same as Translation, GB2312, UTF-8)
