instead of WIN7, switch to Ubuntu...

Since I decided to try django, I found it is so hard to make the work done...

In the beginning, I did not get big problem of using Python. This made me feel that quiting Drupal for Django is a so smart decision. But when I really got to Django, problems came. Especially when my OS is WIN7, it is so inconvenient for almost everything. e.g., not enough doc for WIN.

I finally made my mind, ok, go to Linux!!!

Then problems came again.

1) Which virtual OS software I want to use? Had a quick survey... VMWare Workstation, I need to buy it... Virtual Box is free... I went the latter one :)

(remember still need to download the latest Ubuntu, which is needed for the virtual machine software!)

Just installed Virtual Box. It worked great.

2) However the current resolution is low. And this made the window small. The solution is to use the "Devices" menu in the virtual machine's menu bar, where VirtualBox has a handy menu item named "Install guest additions". Just click it and you will see the installation screen. You just need to click enter when it is done.

I did not find it works until I restart the (virtual) Ubuntu OS. The screen is much better now!
