ntop 是一款優秀的網絡流量監控軟件，它可以用圖視形式只管的展現網絡環境及各項參數。要安裝使用它，對於初學者來說是件不易的事情，因爲它需要太多輔助軟件包的依賴。不過也還好，摸着石頭總能過河。今天，我們就在Linux ubuntu10.04的環境下進行此軟件的安裝。
首先下載此軟件（約37M）

我將其tar.gz原安裝包放置在/var/www/下，並運行
tar zvxf ntop-4.0.1.tar.gz 進行解壓縮
cd ntop-4.0.1
和以往的源碼編譯不同，ntop目錄下未包含configure腳本文件，注意autogen.sh的文件我們可以運行看看。
首先運行autogen.sh腳本文件。

You must have autoconf installed to compile autogen.sh.Download the appropriate package for your distribution, or get the
source tarball from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/autoconf
We recommend version 2.53 or higher
看到上面的提示信息是需要libtool、automake、autoconf三個軟件安裝後才能進行ntop的安裝
接下來我們根據下面的鏈接下載這幾個軟件，並通過編譯安裝它們：libtool、autoconf、automake。
