Overview
This is a major maintenance release of the Membase Server with significant stability fixes and improvements and should be used for all new testing and production deployments.
For existing production deployments:
I/O subsystem improvements have resulted in a performance regression for rebalancing and replication. This will be addressed in the next release, scheduled for January 2011, and most existing production deployments should target the January release for upgrade. However, if you are experiencing any issues that are noted as fixed with this release, you may want to consider an upgrade at this time. Production deployments not affected by issues fixed in this release should consider waiting for the next release, to avoid having to upgrade twice in a short period of time.
