Background
One of the new configurable features of XenApp 4.5 for Windows 2003 32-bit or 64-bit, Hotfix Rollup Pack 5 Feature Pack 2 or later is the option to make Client Drive Mapping and Clipboard Mapping read-only. This is as per server configurable registry key.

Additional Resources
The read-only Client Drive Mapping setting allows the users to read files on their mapped client drives but not save any information to them.
The read-only Clipboard mapping setting allows the users to copy and paste text into a published application, but they are unable to copy information from a published application back to their workstation, which means that the data that is copied to the clipboard from a published application does not show up in the local client’s clipboard buffer.
