個人介紹

SELF INTRODUCTION

我叫張晟,東華大學工業設計研二,對藝術/科技/商業均有着濃厚興趣。雖然專業是工業設計,但從不侷限於工業設計。目前主要研究人工智能在設計中的應用,並已開發了幾款基於人工智能的設計輔助工具。很榮幸成爲這次活動的第8組的一員,主題是“代碼:解碼:創新”

I am Zhang Sheng, a postgraduate student from Donghua University. Although my specialty is industrial design, it is never limited to industrial design. At present, it mainly studies the application of artificial intelligence in design, and has developed several design aids based on artificial intelligence.I am honored to be a member of the 8th group of this event. The theme is "Code: Decoding: Innovation."

汽車手繪線稿自動上色器

Car sketch autorender

受漫畫上色網站PaintsChainer的啓發,我意識到人工智能在設計界可發揮巨大作用,於是結合自己以前從事汽車設計的經歷,製作了一個汽車線稿自動上色工具。以下是效果截圖,左邊是輸入的線稿,右邊是自動上色結果。可訪問http://privatepainter.com/ 在線玩耍。

Inspired by the comic painter website PaintsChainer, I realized that artificial intelligence can play a huge role in the design community. Therefore, in conjunction with my previous experience in car design, I created a car sketch autorender tool. The following is a screenshot of the effect. The left side is the input linework, and the right side is the automatic coloring result. Visit http://privatepainter.com/ to try it out.

服裝設計方案生成器

AI Fashion Designer

開發汽車線稿自動上色時,我發現汽車設計領域並非應用人工智能圖像生成技術的最佳領域,經過調查分析,選擇服裝設計領域進行進一步開發。蒐集當季所有的服裝發佈會最新服裝圖片,利用人工智能技術提取出其中的設計風格,建立了一套自動給線稿着色的算法,可以在幾秒內自動生成任意數量的搭配方案。幫助服裝設計師更快更好的抓住潮流趨勢。(由於沒錢租GPU服務器,程序暫時未上線)

When developing the auto-line painting of automotive lines, I found that the automotive design field is not the best field of application of artificial intelligence image generation technology. After investigation and analysis, we choose the garment design field for further development. Collect all the latest costume images of the current season's apparel release conferences, use artificial intelligence technology to extract the design styles, and set up an algorithm for automatically coloring linear scripts to automatically generate any number of collocation schemes in seconds. Help costume designers to catch trends faster and better.(Since there is no money to rent a GPU server, the program is temporarily offline.)

利用圖像識別來玩火影忍者結印法術

NARUTO game

某日突發奇想,用卷積神經網絡來識別《火影忍者》中的結印手勢來玩遊戲好像很有意思,於是寫了十分“中二”的程序,根據識別結果,加上忍術音效和忍術特效。源代碼已上傳至我的github:https://github.com/Arthurzhangsheng/NARUTO_game

對數字化領域的看法

The view of the digital field

我選擇進入數字化領域的原因很功利,因爲我感到傳統設計領域已經是一片紅海,我們這一代設計師已經錯過了傳統設計發展的紅利期,很難賺大錢,所以我選擇“人工智能+”這一藍海,利用新技術來實現財務自由。

設計和藝術之前被人們認爲是人工智能最不可能勝任的工作之一,但隨着風格遷移、GAN、阿里鹿班,arkie等一系列技術和應用出現後,理性的代碼和感性的藝術設計不再涇渭分明。當前的人工智能最擅長從大數據中學習到隱含結構,而我們做設計時不也是從大量信息資料中獲取設計素材嗎?有人會指責說用人工智能創作,只不過是特徵的重組,算不上創作,但我們人類做設計又何嘗不是特徵重組呢?天下設計一大抄,一流設計師抄自然界,二流設計師抄跨界,三流設計師抄同行,從來就沒有真正意義上的原創。

我相信未來一定會出現AI設計大師,不過目前階段,AI還只是個設計實習生,無法替代人類設計師,但它能幫助我們做很多簡單重複的工作,提升我們的效率,這也是我目前所重點研究開發的領域之一。

The reason why I chose to enter the digital domain is very utilitarian because I feel that the traditional design field is already a Red Sea. Our generation of designers has already missed the dividend period of traditional design development and it is difficult to make big money, so I chose “artificial intelligence plus” ,a blue ocean, to achieve financial freedom with new technologies.

Design and art were previously considered to be one of the most impossible tasks for artificial intelligence, but with the appearance of a series of technologies and applications such as style migration, GAN, Ali Luban, and arkie, rational codes and perceptual artistic designs are not Again and again. The current artificial intelligence is best at learning implicit structures from big data, and we do not design materials from large amounts of information at the time of designing. Some people will accuse people of using artificial intelligence to create. It's just a reorganization of the characteristics. It's not creation, but isn't our human design a feature reorganization? The design of the world is a big copy. The first-rate designers copy the nature, the second-rate designers copy the cross-border, and the third-rate designers copy the counterparts. There has never been a true original.

I believe there will be AI design masters in the future, but at this stage, AI is only a design intern and cannot replace human designers. But it can help us to do a lot of simple and repetitive tasks and improve our efficiency. This is one of what I currently focus on.

We hope to know each other and make cross-border cooperation and wipe out wonderful sparks. It would be great if I could find business partners.
