This is how you do it using a command prompt:
- To Turn Off:
- NetSh Advfirewall set allprofiles state off
- To Turn On:
- NetSh Advfirewall set allrprofiles state on
- To check the status of Windows Firewall:
- Netsh Advfirewall show allprofiles
