AWS基於Mysql/postgres開發的Aurora，是個很熱門的OLTP數據庫產品。目前很多用戶很關心Aurora。

各種官方的性能測試，也充分展示了Aurora的強勁實力。
閒來無事，通過sybench，測試一下Aurora Mysql和RDS原生Mysql之間性能差異。測試結果僅供參考。
網絡上比較流行的一張性能對比圖，越大的機型，性能aurora的性能優勢體現的越好。
測試環境準備，由於Aurora目前只有中國寧夏區有提供服務，所以測試環境都是基於寧夏Region測試的。
<1. EC2 m4.xlarge （4CPU 16G）
<2. RDS db.r4.xlarge （4 vCPU 30.5 GiB ） Mysql版本5.7.12
<3. Aurora db.r4.xlarge （4 vCPU 30.5 GiB ） Mysql版本5.7.12
<4. 爲了減少網絡因素的影響，將這些機器，都放置在同一個AZ。
<5. EC2 選擇 Amazon AMI2，並安裝sysbench 1.0.17
<6. Mysql創建20個表，每個表1000W行數據，數據量在40G左右（避免數據全部cache到內存中，而測試不到IO的性能影響）。
<7. 還另外插入20表，100W行/表，做插入時間比對。
1. 數據庫中插入20個表，每個表100W行數據，看插入時間比較。Mysql 耗時 5m32.238s，Aurora耗時7m28.073s。

2. Aurora的鏈接方式，以及replica的的只讀訪問的連接分配
Aurora直接連接點個數據庫節點的Endpoint方式

Aurora通過Cluster Endpoint進行連接
連接到主庫，進行寫入和讀取操作

連接到replica 數據庫，進行只讀操作，會自動分配連接到不同的可用slave上

多次並行發起查詢測試，可以看到，連接會到不同的slave節點上，這點也是Aurora的優點，大併發的讀操作，會比傳統的Mysql更有優勢。

4. AWS官方blog也有測試輸出，Aurora的性能比Mysql好不少。具體可以參考。

我的測試環境，相對來說，單表更多的行數，也是有一些區別的。
個人感覺，由於Aurora不直接寫datafile，只寫binlog的方式，勢必比Mysql要寫datafile快很多。而且在越大數據庫，和硬件配置的情況下。IO這部分的影響會越明顯。
另外Aurora的多slave讀取共享數據文件的情況，也會讓slave的數據同步，比傳統Mysql slave要更實時。
並且replica slave的cluster域名訪問，自動分配查詢到不同的slave，也節省從應用層面做load balance更簡易。
而且aurora可以結合AWS auto-scaling，做到彈性伸縮。才能真正體會“雲”的優勢。
當然，以上測試，純是一個技術吊絲無聊舉動，僅供參考。實際情況，可以根據我的方法，調整表的數量，和單表的行數。會更接近實際生產情況。
