Wired ethernet not getting detected
Ok, so for all owners of this dell N4030 here's how to get wired working:
(1) lspci showing: broadcom corporation device 4727 (rev 01)
(2) Atheros Communications AR8152 v1.1 Fast Ethernet (rev c1)
-----Wired------:
1. Download official Atheros driver, from their website:
http://partner.atheros.com/Drivers.aspx (file: AR81Family-linux-v1.0.1.9.tar.gz)
2. tar -xvf AR*
3. make
4. sudo make install
5. sudo reboot
