Aims: The aims of this optional course are twofold. Firstly, it is to
consider the general principles of wireless networks & protocols and to
give an overall picture of wireless network functioning; secondly, it is to
present the fundamentals of pervasive services that run on top of
wireless networks. Both basic knowledge and recent cutting-edge
research advance will be taught.
Learning Outcomes: The ability to understand the different types of
representative wireless networks and their operation. The ability to
master the basic principles of pervasive service engineering.
