how do u think we shoud strengthen ourselves to confront world-changing?
Frankly speaking,i think that world is changing,but we should remain.keep the traditional virtues,keep the good in ourselves,do not change bad.
what changes in the world is external,such as technology,resources and productivity, what style of clothes u wear and what your life style is.
what remain in the world is innner,the traditional virtues never feeding with the sunset,as far as i am concerned.the Confucius' words,the Socrates' mottos,so long as you are an individual, i think these are something u should strive for all your life no matter the times.
For example,
- examine self three times a day.
- TEMPERANCE. Eat not to dullness; drink not to elevation.
- ORDER. Let all your things have their places; let each part of your business have its time.
- RESOLUTION. Resolve to perform what you ought; perform without fail what you resolve.
- FRUGALITY. Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself; i.e., waste nothing.
- INDUSTRY. Lose no time; be always employed in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions.
- JUSTICE. Wrong none by doing injuries, or omitting the benefits that are your duty.
- TRANQUILLITY. Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.

"One World One Dream",it came up in my mind as soon as i saw the question.
"One World One Dream" is a profound concept of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
it fully symbolize Friendship,Progress（進步）,Harmony（和諧）,Participation（參與） and Dream.
It expresses the common wishes of people around the world,to strive for a bright future of Mankind.
In spite of the differences in colors,languages and races,we share the charm ，joy and challenge of the globalization,and together we seek for the ideal of Mankind for peace and mutual improvement.
We belong to the same world and we share the same aspirations and dreams,we face the same challenges and difficulties.
In Chinese,the word "tongyi",which means "the same",is used for the English word "One".It highlights the theme of "the whole Mankind lives in the same world and seeks for the same dream and ideal".we face the things together,no matter what good or bad haddpens.
so lets work together , making ourself and the world better!
