疑問代詞(interrogative pronouns)
疑問代詞包括：
- 指人的疑問代詞：who (主格)，whom(賓格)，whose（所有格）
- 指物的疑問代詞：what (主格，賓格)
- 既可指人又可指物的疑問代詞：which（主格，賓格）
疑問代詞引導的疑問句成爲特殊疑問句。疑問代詞what，which，who和whom有其對應的帶有-ever的強調形式，例如whatever, whichever，whoever，whomever。這類疑問代詞也可用作關係代詞；有時還可以引導讓步狀語從句。
- Email’s also convenient. Whoever invented it is a genius.
- He did whatever (=anything that) he could do.
- I shall do it whatever (=no matter what) happens.
- You can take whichever (any one that) you like.
- Whoever (=Any person who) comes is welcome.
- The manager may employ whomever (= any person who) they choose.
