Finally all came to an end, so exhausted but worthwhile an experience, though I’ve been extremely low-spirited for quite a while about the salary. Yuni, as she said herself, is a very mean woman. Still many thanks to her, I can never get the chance to learn a lot if it was not her the one I had worked for. I guess she considered what I learned have already paid me enough, although all that I gain was from my own efforts, and exactly I deserved that.
Debbie, a Korean journalist I worked for in previous days, was very kind and considerate.
“Have you taken your lunch?” she came to the stage and asked.
“No, Yuni hasn’t asked me to.”
Debbie looked at me, shaking her head, full of mercy, “I’ll go and take one for you.”
In such cases, I always felt I’m an ill-treated kid. Why am I willing to work for Yuni? For I’ve never realized she was so mean till today, who expected to get most from the others, with no gratefulness to what they did for her at all. She was satisfied with my work, and seemed to like me. Anyhow money is just another case.
Still some interesting things to mention. Mark and Travor, always a happy couple, having fun most
of the time. Mark seemed quiet and serious, that's my first impression of him. But you will know people better as time passed by. He is gentle, polite and kind to me.
“Nora, why not learn Grubby’s autograph and fake it yourself for commercials?” he suggested.
“Oh, I felt bad if I asked you to do it.”
Everytime I had some doubts for myself, Mark can provide a detailed answer.
“No, not flink, it’s flick. Flick means quick movement.”
“What does fucking hockey mean?” I’ve once asked.
Mark fainted for seconds, looked at me with his gloomy blue eyes, “It’s a bad word only for white people, don’t learn it.”
Travor was big and tall, he seldom stopped chattering. So amazing what made him so energetic, it’s really hard for him to keep quiet for a short moment.
“Nora, tell me her phone number.” He pointed at a girl on TV, for whom I found really hard to
agree his judgement, a very plain girl, as he considered, is very, very beautiful… _-_
“Lawyers are snakes. They get well paid but people don’t respect them at all. Movie stars make a lot of money but they’re weird and few people like them….”
By comparison, Jaczie and Joe seem to be a little bit strange couple. One is open and the other is very shy. Joe doesn’t know how to wear a tie, but always put it on making every attempt to make a graceful knot. Poor of him. Jaczie hates her jacket and keeps complaining to Yohan in every short break. ”IT’S SO HOT!!! CAN I PUT IT OFF? WILL YOU LET ME NOT DIE?” She’s very open, I mistook her boyfriend for Joe at the beginning, but soon discovered later on that she treated everyone just alike.
Grubby, helped me write autograph on uncountable t-shirts and caps. I don’t wanta bother anybody to that degree myself. But Yuni wanted that. What I can do is to follow her orders. The last autograph Grubby gave me was for myself, on my notebook. I think I’ll keep it for long. For the
cap, t-shirt and mouse pad, better sold them all now at a satisfactory price. A little bit regretted but no need to keep them really.
Before WEG started, there was two weeks long of delay. I should have worked hard at that time to get a much better knowledge of games but I didn’t. That proved to be an unforgivable mistake now. If I’ve made clear of all terms in warcraft and cs, there would be no possibility for us to have snowfox, a kind guy who have picked my things lost on taxi for several times.
“You’re always aside while there is an interview. But I didn’t see you today so I felt curious and called you.” He explained.
“Tod is very handsome.” I said.
He got jealous and replied, “handsome for what？is it because of his big nose?”
Freeagain, lucky to know him. An excellent Chinese interpreter. He wrote lyrics extremely difficult to understand, which has quite a lot of words closely related to the game. As to a girl who has never played w3 for a time, I have to translate them!
