在把gentoo折騰掛第n次後，我在硬盤上裝了一個ubuntu10.04，用於在gentoo掛掉後恢復gentoo。最近升級ubuntu到11.04後，ubuntu無法啓動，而且覆蓋了gentoo的grub。
光盤啓動然後chroot到gentoo後，grub-install --no-floppy /dev/hda,提示：
/dev/sda does not have any corresponding BIOS drive
對其進行修復
grub-install --recheck /dev/sda
報告：
Could not find device for /boot: not found or not a block device
查閱了一下，發現是/etc/mtab被修改或者沒有更新引起的，更新該文件：
cp /proc/mounts /etc/mtab
重新
grub-install --no-floppy /dev/hda
順利通過。
