如果忘記了Console口登錄密碼，用戶可以通過以下兩種方式來設置新的Console口登錄密碼:
在能通過telnet登錄的情況下重新設置：
1. 通過STelnet/Telnet登錄交換機設置新的Console口登錄密碼
這種方法的前提是：用戶擁有STelnet/Telnet賬號並且具有管理員的權限。以下涉及的命令行及回顯信息以STelnet登錄設備修改Console口密碼爲例。用戶通過STelnet賬號登錄交換機後，請按照如下步驟進行配置。
a. 以登錄用戶界面的認證方式爲密碼認證，密碼爲Huawei@123爲例，配置如下。
[HUAWEI] user-interface console 0
[HUAWEI-ui-console0] authentication-mode password
[HUAWEI-ui-console0] set authentication password cipher Huawei@123
[HUAWEI-ui-console0] return
b. 以登錄用戶界面的認證方式爲AAA認證，用戶名爲admin123，密碼爲Huawei@123爲例，配置如下。
[HUAWEI] user-interface console 0
[HUAWEI-ui-console0] authentication-mode aaa
[HUAWEI-ui-console0] quit
[HUAWEI] aaa
[HUAWEI-aaa] local-user admin123 password irreversible-cipher Huawei@123
[HUAWEI-aaa] local-user admin123 service-type terminal

在不能通過telnet登錄的情況下通過console線更改：
通過BootROM清除Console口登錄密碼
交換機的BootROM提供了清除Console口登錄密碼的功能，用戶可以在交換機啓動後修改Console口登錄密碼，然後保存配置。請按照如下步驟進行配置。
通過Console口連接交換機，並重啓交換機。當界面出現以下打印信息時，及時按下快捷鍵“Ctrl+B”並輸入BootROM密碼，進入BootROM主菜單。
框式交換機打印信息：
Press Ctrl+B to enter boot menu ... 1
Password: //輸入BootROM密碼 （[email protected]）
BIOS Menu (Version: 314) 1. Boot with default mode 2. Enter serial submenu 3. Enter startup submenu 4. Enter ethernet submenu 5. Enter file system submenu 6. Modify BOOTROM password 7. 記得最後一步一定要選擇1 ，而不能選擇9 ，因爲上面選擇7後明確告訴我們，如果重啓則所做更改不會被保存。選擇1後就可以免密碼登錄到命令行界面，然後就可以更改密碼了

盒式交換機打印信息：

說明：
盒式交換機的某些款型支持使用快捷鍵“Ctrl+E”進入BootROM主菜單，請根據設備的界面提示操作。
盒式交換機在V100R006C05之前的版本，BootROM默認密碼爲huawei；在V100R006C05及之後的版本，默認密碼爲[email protected]。
框式交換機在V100R006C00之前的版本，BootROM默認密碼爲9300；在V100R006C00及之後的版本，默認密碼爲[email protected]。
b. 在BootROM主菜單下選擇“Clear password for console user”清除Console口登錄密碼。
c.根據交換機的提示，在BootROM主菜單下選擇“Boot with default mode”啓動設備。
d. 完成系統啓動後，通過Console口登錄時不需要認證，登錄後按照系統提示配置驗證密碼。
e. 登錄交換機後，用戶可以根據需要配置Console用戶界面的認證方式及密碼。
