VOC數據集格式轉化成COCO數據集格式
一、嘮叨
之前寫過一篇關於coco數據集轉化成VOC格式的博客COCO2VOC,最近讀到CenterNet的官方代碼,實現上則是將voc轉化成coco數據格式,這樣的操作我個人感覺很不習慣,也覺得有些奇葩,可能是每個人習慣不一樣吧,我們知道有時候我們會採用labelImg標註數據,標註出來的格式就是voc,如果直接訓練就可以用來訓練是不是更加友好。
爲了不大規模修改原始訓練代碼(雖然自己修改了一個版本的voc數據集就能直接訓練centernet 😊),同時也看到網上很多大佬也做了將VOC數據格式轉化成COCO用於其訓練,這裏我自己做一個精細一點的,作爲筆記。
二、轉化過程
數據格式的轉換實際是annotation標註文件的轉化,voc的數據標註文件爲以.xml結尾的文件,而且每張圖片均有一個對應的同名標註文件;COCO則是將所有的標註信息寫在一個json文件中。VOC數據集目錄如下:
在之前的coco2voc博客中做了詳細的介紹,現在直接開始轉化,目標就是將Annotations中的所有標註文件中的bbox標註信息轉化爲json文件,根據訓練集和測試集,則主要轉化爲四個json文件,分別是test.json、train.json、val.json和trainval.json .這裏我根據ImageSets中的train.txt val.txt trainval.txt生成後三個json文件,當然也可以直接從Annotations文件夾生成。

到此就結束了,提供兩個關鍵函數,一個是通過txt,另一個使用過文件夾,然後就可以用於centernet訓練了,或者也可以用於其他的算法數據準備。
