• 單詞後加ed的讀法,是根據單詞最後一個音來決定的
  • 若末尾爲[t],[d],則發[id] 例: seated [sitid]

有些單詞發音雖然相同,卻會因重音節位置不同而產生不同的意思.名詞具有各自的重音節,但複合名詞的重音節則是落在最前面
