今天，想借來推一首詩和一個詩人。
第一次看影片《4個婚禮和1個葬禮》，大概還是錄像帶的記憶，畢竟這部電影上映於94年，模模糊糊其實沒什麼印象，只記得不停得舉辦婚禮，一羣人忙來忙去很有趣。中秋假期，CCTV6《佳片有約》再一次播了這個影片，幼時的記憶彷彿被喚起，原來我曾經看過這個片子。而當時完全沒感覺的英式幽默，深情，歡快，悲傷以及各種細微的觀念，都跨越時空補了回來。
最impressed的，則是那場葬禮上男配讀給他逝去的同性伴侶的致辭，選自英國詩人奧登的《葬禮藍調》，初聽之時，不覺就驚爲天人，潸然淚下。
摘抄如下（中文翻譯可參考上圖，雖然失去了很多原詩的意味）：
Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,

聽到淚奔的那一瞬間，不得不說詩句的力量有多大。尤其是那句“He was my North, my South, my East and West.”。語言的優美與韻味，隱喻的情感表達，簡直太動人。
很巧的是，這首詩也是詩人奧登寫給他逝去的同性愛人的，或許4+1的編劇也是巧妙地設計了這個橋段從而引用了這首驚爲天人的詩。
W.H.奧登是近代英國詩壇上最知名的詩人，多產且高質，多數詩作的主題都是愛情，有悲傷，失敗，殘缺，渴求，希望等等。他寫的愛情詩，出色且動人。
還有這句，出自奧登《愛得更多的人》，也是一眼難忘：
If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving be on me.
若深情不能對等，願愛得更多的人是我。
有很多人都是奧登的粉絲，其中就有超多人的男神抖森，他曾在BBC電臺欄目中朗讀自己喜歡的詩人的詩作，其中就包括了奧登的《某晚當我外出散步》。
