C  Developer in Linux Requirements

• B.S or above degree, major in computer science or related.
• 2+ years Development experience working in Linux environments with C language.
• Be familiar with Linux OS and kernel technology.
• Good Written/Oral English.
• Be familiar with Firewall technologies (/IKED/VPN, Net-filter, Proxy, etc.), and/or has rich experiences of Firewall software development preferred.
• Be familiar with TCP/IP protocols, and/or has rich experiences of network software development under Linux preferred.
• Be familiar with Nic driver technology, and/or has rich experiences of Nic driver development under Linux preferred.

Position primary works in office environment. Sitting for long period of time. Use of computer monitor and keyboard is required. Occasionally need to lift and set up computer and other equipments for development and testing purpose.

Position Overview
WatchGuard’s Beijing Development Center is looking for software engineers to join the global WatchGuard Network product development activities. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the complete product R&D and testing cycle.

Scope of Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, integrate and sustain appliance management functions inside the appliance. The management functions include fault, configuration, performance, accounting, and security management and cover all networking and security features of the appliance. Develop an embedded management platform to enable smooth integration of appliance software and management applications. Interface with networking and security feature owners as well as management application developers to perform the final integration. Work on other related software project as assigned.
