The Faerie Queene 《仙后》(十四行詩格律形式：每節9行，前8行都是每行10個音節，第9行爲12個音節，按ababbcbcc押韻，被稱作“斯賓塞詩節（the Spenserian stanza) ）”。
斯賓塞詩歌有五大特點 (the five main qualities of spenser's poetry)：
