2012 BI市場（一）

一年一度的Gartner報告又來了，回顧一下2012年的BI市場吧。

2013年2月5日，Gartner發佈2012年BI魔力象限（Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms）

 

對比前兩年的報告，第一象限的數量由8個增加爲10個，各家的位置也小有變動，但大的格局並沒有變化。其實從2007、2008年IT巨頭的併購潮之後，雖說總盤子在增大，但BI市場十分平穩。

從近些年BI市場份額（2012年的BI市場佔有率報告還沒出來，但估計不會有太大變化）的趨勢也可以看出，2007年之前，併購潮前是弱寡頭壟斷市場（前4家不到40%)，而現在是強寡頭壟斷市場(前4家超過了60%）。沒有革命性技術出現或強大的外部力量的話，這種強寡頭壟斷的特點就是穩定。

穩定同時也代表了，缺少變化，缺少創新。目前的幾個巨頭，SAP BO,Oracle BIEE,SAS,IBM Cognos，都感覺只是坐地收錢，而缺少攻城拔寨的拓張。
