照片編輯應用VSCO關閉紐約分部，部分員工被遣

Instagram 的主要競爭對手、照片編輯應用公司 VSCO 近日關閉了其位於紐約分部，並遣散了員工。據悉，這一決定是爲了將員工集中在奧克蘭公司總部，以更好的應對市場競爭。除了紐約分部以外，VSCO 還在丹佛設有辦事處，也正是在併購丹佛了的設計工作室 Artifact Uprising 後，原 VSCO 工作室正式更名爲 VSCO 有限責任公司。

　　VSCO 官方網站上羅列了部分職位空缺，丹佛和奧克蘭兩處辦公室均有涉及。紐約遣散的員工表示，他們被告知其中將有部分被遷往這兩處，具體人數目前尚不清楚。VSCO 官方對此次遣散事件人數方面等細節也未透露具體細節，如紐約分部關閉時在職員工人數，以及此次遣散員工佔公司總人數比重。不過據相關媒體透露，VSCO 在職員工超過 100 人，其中 80 多人就職於奧克蘭總部。

　　VSCO 紐約分部於去年開設，旨在爲紐約員工提供辦事處以及開放式攝影工作室。實際上開設紐約分部的規劃早在 2014 年提出。當時 VSCO 剛在A輪融資中獲 4000 萬美元投資，希望藉助設立紐約分部來擴大公司規模，實現員工人數的成倍增長。

　　公司負責人向媒體證實關閉紐約分部的事實，而他們原計劃擴展紐約分部的工作室，隨着此次變動，擴展計劃將轉而在奧克蘭總部實行。
