這一章節講圖和表的規範
Every footnote, like the title, should end with a period.
每條腳註，就如標題一樣，應以句號作爲結尾
Avoid numeric markers
避免數字編號，主要是爲了和數據區分開來
Column entries left-justified
每列的內容應當左對齊，像以下這個表格：
In theses results in tab and graph
在論文中結果以表格或圖表形式呈現
… / undefined/ inapplicable by an empty cell
在空白的格子中填上省略號、未定義、不適用等註釋語
10 pt
字號爲10point
Decimal points (or ±) uniformly aligned
小數點或加減號應當對齊
Too long and narrow → invert/ break into segments
如果表格太長或太窄應當翻轉行列或拆分爲部分
Avoid too large or too small tab
迴避太大或太小的表格
Compress by deleting least important columns/ little variation
壓縮表格：刪除最不重要的列或沒什麼差異的數據
Table heading repeat
針對多頁的表格每頁都要有標題
Table A. x (continued)
並註上：（延續）
Lists indent
清單需要縮進
Highlight by bullets ∙ or dashes -
以子彈頭或橫線標示

Titles rarely consist of complex sentences
圖的標題很少由複雜句子組成
Avoid off-hand comments like 'for more info see text'
避免沒用的評論想什麼“更多信息見文中”
Legend as a separate text block beneath the title
圖例寫成單獨的文字置於標題下

圖的標題用10point
Line width coordinates:axes:curves = 1: 1.4: 2
線寬的話，座標：座標軸：曲線 = 1 : 1.4 : 2
Family of curves: italicized numbers, upright (roman) letters
標示曲線用斜體數字，正體（非斜體）字母
x, y axis start from 0
橫豎軸從零起始
Unit after a comma U in V U/V
單位跟在一個逗號後 或 in 或 /
Avoid power-of-ten factors except 10^6 g^(-1) s^(-1)
避免十次方的因數
Quantity symbols in italics
數量級的標誌用斜體
No framing at top, right
上方和右方不加框
