udi manber是個大牛啊，呵呵。查資料時又翻了翻他在arizona時候的homepage，發現了兩條好玩的語錄，如下。

The difference between theory and practice in practice is greater than the difference between theory and practice in theory.
理論和實際的實際距離比兩者的理論距離要大得多。

The difference between democracy and dictatorship is that in a dictatorship the government lies and the newspapers lie. In a democracy the government lies and the newspapers lie, but they are different lies.
民主和獨裁的區別是：獨裁政府說謊，報紙也說謊；民主政府說謊，報紙也說謊，但是他們說不同的謊。
