《Is your mama a llama?》以到處問朋友們“你的媽媽是駝羊嗎”的駝羊爲主角，駝羊從朋友的回答中，推測出他們的媽媽分別是蝙蝠、牛、袋鼠等動物。最後，天然駝羊Lloyd遇到了媽媽在同一個牧羣的Llyn，找駝羊媽媽故事終於結束了。
"Is your mama a llama?" I asked my friend Dave.
“你的媽媽是駝羊嗎？”我問朋友Dave。
"No, she is not," is the answer Dave gave.
"不，她不是。"這是Dave的回答。
"She hangs by her feet, and she lives in a cave. I do not believe that's how llamas behave."

"Oh," I said. "You are right about that. I think that your mama sounds more like a ..."

"Is your mama a llama?" I asked my friend Fred.
“你的媽媽是駝羊嗎？”我問朋友Fred。
"No, she is not," is what Freddy said.

"She has a long neck and white feathers and wings. I don't think a llama has all of those things."

"Oh," I said. "You don't need to go on. I think that your mama must be a ..."

"No, she is not," Jane politely explained.

"No, she is not," is how Clyde replied.

"She's got flippers and whiskers and eats fish all day... I do not think llamas act quite in that way."

"Is your mama a llama?" I asked my friend Rhonda.
“你的媽媽是駝羊嗎？”我問朋友Rhonda。
"No, she is not," is how Rhonda responded.
“不，她不是，”Rhonda這樣答覆。
"She's got big hind legs and a pocket for me... So I don't think a llama is what she could be."
