掌控我所能

We cannot choose how many years we will live,
but we can choose how much life those years will have .
We cannot control the beauty of our face ,
but we can control the expression on it .
We cannot control life's difficult moments,
but we can choose to make life less difficult.
We cannot control the negative atmosphere of the world,
but we can control the atmosphere of our minds.
Too often we try to choose and control things we cannot.
Too seldom we choose to control what we can ...our attitude.
我們無法決定我們壽命的長短，但我們可以決定活得有多充實。
我們無法控制自己的容貌，但我們可以控制自己的表情。
我們無法控制生活的艱辛，但我們可以選擇讓生活過得更從容。
我們無法控制世界上消極的氛圍，但我們可以控制我們思想的氛圍。
我們經常選擇去做那些我們無法控制的事，卻很少去選擇我們可以控制的事
——那就是我們的態度。
