Select Source Control System
If you are just starting to use source control in MATLAB®, select a source control system that is part of the MathWorks® source control integration with the Current Folder browser, such as Subversion® or Git™. Doing so enables you to take advantage of the built-in nature of the integration. MathWorks source control integration is on by default.
- On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click Preferences.
- In the preferences dialog box, navigate to the
MATLAB > General > Source Controlpane. - To use the MathWorks source control integration, which is accessible through the Current Folder browser, select Enable MathWorks source control integration. Use this option for source control systems such as Subversion and Git. This is the default option, unless you previously set up source control with MATLAB.
Disable Source Control
When you disable source control, MATLAB does not destroy repository information. For example, it does not remove the .svn folder. You can put the folder back under source control by enabling the source control integration again.
- On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog box, in the
MATLAB > General > Source Controlpane, selectNone.
