三、相關術語

1、Agile Methodology敏捷開發

Agile Methodology is a type of project management process, mainly used for software development, under which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing and cross-functional teams and their customer(s)/end user(s).

It advocates adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continual improvement, and it encourages rapid and flexible response to change.

2、AHT (Average Handle Time)評價處理時長

Average handle time (AHT) is a call center metric for the average duration of one transaction, typically measured from the customer's initiation of the call and including any hold time, talk time and related tasks that follow the transaction. AHT is a prime factor when deciding call center staffing levels.

3、BPM (Business Process Management) tools

Business Process Management (BPM) tools are used for automating, measuring and optimizing business processes.

Some BPM tools such as SIPOCs, process flows, RACIs, CTQs and histograms allow users to:

  • visualize – functions and processes
  • measure – determine the appropriate measure to determine success
  • analyze – compare the various simulations to determine an optimal improvement
  • improve – select and implement the improvement
  • control – deploy this implementation and by use of user-defined dashboards monitor the improvement in real time and feed the performance information back into the simulation model in preparation for the next improvement iteration
  • re-engineer – revamp the processes from scratch for better results

4、BU (Business Unit) / SBU (Strategic Business Unit)業務單位

In business, a strategic business unit (SBU) is a profit center which focuses on product offering and market segment.

An SBU may be a business unit within a larger corporation, or it may be a business into itself or a branch. Corporations may be composed of multiple SBUs, each of which is responsible for its own profitability.

5、CAB (Change Advisory Board)需求板

A change-advisory board (CAB) delivers support to a change-management team by advising on requested changes, assisting in the assessment and prioritization of changes.

This body is generally made up of IT and Business representatives that include: a change manager, user managers and groups, technical experts and, possible third parties and customers (if required).

6、CR (Change Request)變更需求

A change request is a document containing a call for an adjustment of a system; it is of great importance in the change management process.

A change request is declarative, i.e. it states what needs to be accomplished, but leaves out how the change should be carried out.

7、FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)人力預估

Full-time equivalent (FTE) or whole time equivalent (WTE) is a unit that indicates the workload of an employed person (or student) in a way that makes workloads or class loads comparable across various contexts.

FTE is often used to measure a worker's or student's involvement in a project, or to track cost reductions in an organization.

An FTE of 1.0 is equivalent to a full-time worker or student, while an FTE of 0.5 signals half of a full work or school load.

8、Go-Live上線

Go-live is the time at which something becomes available for use.

At the time of the go-live, a system is officially and formally available to users who can then initiate transactions in the new system.

In enterprise circles, the term go-live is particularly associated with systems that help manage business functions such as ERP, CRM, or HCM, financial, logistics or marketing systems.

9、Intranet內網

10、Macro (computer science)腳本

A macro (short for "macroinstruction") in computer science is a rule or pattern that specifies how a certain input sequence (often a sequence of characters) should be mapped to a replacement output sequence (also often a sequence of characters) according to a defined procedure.

11、Mainframe applications大型應用系統

Mainframe systems definition: Mainframe Application Systems are the various end-user application systems that are hosted on mainframe computers.

Mainframe computers or mainframes are computers used primarily by large organizations for critical applications; bulk data processing, such as census, industry and consumer statistics, enterprise resource planning; and transaction processing. They are larger and have more processing power than some other classes of computers: minicomputers, servers, workstations, and personal computers

12、Mantis輕量級的開源缺陷管理平臺

13、PO (Purchase Order)訂單

14、REFramework企業級程序設計框架

The framework is meant to be a template that helps the user design processes that offer a way to store, read, and easily modify project configuration data, a robust exception handling scheme and event logging for all exceptions and relevant transaction information.

15、Release Management Process發佈管理流程

Release management is the process of managing, planning, scheduling and controlling a software build through different stages and environments; including testing and deploying software releases.

16、Runtime程序運行期間

17、SME (Subject Matter Expert)領域專家

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) or domain expert is a person who is an authority in a particular area or topic.

In software engineering environments, the term is used to describe professionals with expertise in the field of application.

The term SME also has a broader definition in engineering and high tech as one who has the greatest expertise in a technical topic.

SMEs are often asked to review, improve, and approve technical work; to guide others; and to teach.

18、SO (Sales Order)銷售訂單

19、SOP (Standard Operating Procedure )用戶操作手冊

A standard operating procedure (SOP) is a set of step-by-step instructions compiled by an organization to help workers carry out complex routine operations.

SOPs aim to achieve efficiency, quality output and uniformity of performance, while reducing miscommunication and failure to comply with industry regulations.

20、Stakeholder業務方

According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), the term project stakeholder refers to, "an individual, group, or organization, who may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision, activity, or outcome of a project".

21、Terminal Emulator系統終端模擬器

A terminal emulator, terminal application, or term is a computer program that emulates a video terminal within some other display architecture.

Though typically synonymous with a shell or text terminal, the term terminal covers all remote terminals, including graphical interfaces.

22、UAT (User Acceptance Testing)用戶驗收測試

User acceptance testing (UAT) consists of a process of verifying that a solution works for the user.

It is not system testing (ensuring software does not crash and meets documented requirements), but rather ensures that the solution will work for the user (i.e., tests that the user accepts the solution); software vendors often refer to this as "Beta testing".

23、VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)虛擬桌面

Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) is virtualization technology that hosts a desktop operating system on a centralized server in a data center.

VDI is a variation on the client-server computing model, sometimes referred to as server-based computing.

24、WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)項目分解

A work-breakdown structure (WBS) in project management and systems engineering, is a deliverable-oriented breakdown of a project into smaller components.

A work breakdown structure is a key project deliverable that organizes the team's work into manageable sections.

The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) defines the work-breakdown structure "A hierarchical decomposition of the total scope of work to be carried out by the project team to accomplish the project objectives and create the required deliverables."
